The Senate Judiciary on Tue. became the stage for a Taylor Swift pun-off as members grilled Live Nation CFO Joe Berchtold.

The committee convened Tue.'s hearing after Ticketmaster crashed last Nov. over sales of Swift's upcoming Eras Tour.

Several senators used references to Swift's songs to accuse Live Nation of squashing competition in the live events market.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar opened Tue.'s hearing stating, "You can't have too much consolidation, something that...we know..."

Sen. Mike Lee followed suit, noting that he would have chaired Klobuchar's antitrust subcommittee if not for the midterms:

During his questioning, Sen. Richard Blumenthal told Berchtold: "Ticketmaster ought to look in the mirror and say..."

Lee closed Tue.'s hearing with this final reference to Swift's latest album:
