AAC includes all forms of communication other than oral speech. In the same way that every person is uniquely different, AAC Users have their own unique backgrounds too.

Some people who utilize Augmented and Alternative Communication may live with an intellectual difference.

AAC advancements have been profound in the last decade, with customized devices and individualized voices.

These advancements have allowed for autonomy and individuality in ways that weren’t possible before.

It's important to increase awareness that Augmented & Alternative Communication is valid and is to be celebrated as equal.
