Mon.'s indictment was the culmination of a two and a half year long investigation led by Fulton County DA Fani Willis.
Willis launched her probe into Trump in Feb. 2021, shortly after he called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
In Jan. 2022, Willis convened a special grand jury to investigate Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.
Willis told reporters Mon. that she intended to try all 19 co-defendants together on racketeering charges:
