"We can no longer let the people in power decide what hope is."

Climate activist Greta Thunberg delivered a searing speech this week lambasting world leaders for climate inaction.

Thunberg recited slogans used by UK PM Boris Johnson and US Pres. Biden, stating that they were all talk, no action.

Thunberg: "Build back better, blah, blah, blah. Green economy, blah, blah, blah."

Thunberg: "Climate neutral, blah, blah, blah. This is all we hear from our so-called leaders..."

Thunberg: "...words that sound great but so far, has led to no action or hopes and dreams. Empty words and promises..."

Thunberg: "...they’ve now had 30 years of blah, blah, blah and where has that led us?"

Thunberg: "We can still turn this around – it is entirely possible. It will take...drastic annual emission reductions."

Thunberg: "Our leaders’ intentional lack of action is a betrayal toward all present and future generations."

Thunberg: "They invite cherry-picked young people to meetings like this to pretend that they listen to us. "

Thunberg: "Our emissions are still rising. The science doesn’t lie."

Thunberg: "We can no longer let the people in power decide what is politically possible."
