Voters across Chicago are heading to the polls Tue. to vote in the city's mayoral runoff race.

Who is leading Lightfoot in the polls? Well, for starters, Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García, who led WEBZ's poll with 20% support.

García currently represents Illinois's 4th District in the U.S. House. He last ran for mayor in 2015. (Axios)

Trailing García in WEBZ's Feb. poll is former Chicago Public Schools CEO Paul Vallas with 18% support.

Vallas previously ran for mayor in 2019, but lost to Lightfoot in ninth place. He also ran for governor in 2002. (BCC)

Vallas has been endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police. (BCC)

Who will win? With a margin of error of four points, Lightfoot, García and Vallas are locked in a dead heat in WBEZ's poll.

Among the three, García has the highest favorability rating, with 33% of respondents viewing him favorably. (WBEZ)

A runoff is likely: if no candidate wins a majority on Tue., the top two vote-getters will face off in an April 4 runoff.
