3. Chicago mayoral candidates Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson advanced to an April 4 runoff after Tue.'s election.

4. Pres. Joe Biden on Wed. announced the nomination of Deputy Labor Sec. Julie Su to be the U.S.'s next secretary of labor.

5. California Rep. Robert Garcia marked the start of Women's History Month Wed. with a House floor tribute to Beyoncé.

Garcia tweeted Wed.: "Proud to give the first Congressional tribute ever to @Beyonce on the floor of the U.S. House ✌🏽🐝"
