The Buena Vista Cafe pours 2000 Irish Coffees a day. Here's how we do it.

Hello from San Francisco! The Buena Vista Cafe is a corner bar across from the Hyde Street Cable Car Turnaround.

Famous for introducing Irish Coffees to the US back in 1952, we pour 2000 Irish Coffees a day (in normal times).

It's a pretty simple recipe.

Place two C&H sugar cubes in a 6 oz. stemmed Libby glass. Add hot coffee and stir.

Next, Tullamore Dew Blended Irish Whiskey to taste. We free pour.

Layer a collar of whipped Heavy Whipping Cream on top. Skills.

Tyler Florence says sip the coffee through the cream and savor the layers. Cheers!

Make sure to stop by next time you're in San Francisco! We'll leave the light on.
