Dr. Anthony Fauci and other public health officials came back to Congress Tue. to testify on the US's COVID-19 response.

According to CNN, "at least 16 states" have paused their reopening plans amidst a rise in new coronavirus infections.

This week, 36 states reported a rise in new infections. Some states, such as California, have shut bars back down. (CNN)

When can we expect a COVID-19 vaccine? Not in 2020. Fauci said experts were "aspirationally hopeful" for 2021.

CDC Director Dr. Robert Redfield urged "the millennials and the generation Zs" to heed public health guidelines:
