Patti Hughes is the author of a book, “Seconds,” published by Outskirts Press in 2009. She is a proud Penn State grad (“We Are”) who loves Penn State football, music, laughing, and a certain black and white cat. Skippy is the first pet Patti adopted as an adult, and he’s made her understand the love that a cat could provide. She believes in the “adopt, don’t shop” adage, and she donates to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County whenever she can.
