@drsetheidemiller
Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician whose career path started on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho. Early exposure to farming, wildfire suppression, and construction shaped his practical skills and work ethic. He later pursued degrees in International Studies and Spanish, followed by medical school prerequisites and laboratory sciences in Boise. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, he completed his emergency medicine residency in Fresno. Today, he serves as Vice Chair of the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group. He earned two bachelor’s degrees at the University of Idaho and gained additional experience at Boise State University, where he worked as a lab instructor and manager. For three years, he was involved in biomedical research with a focus on systems biology and human health. These roles allowed him to develop both his analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to patient care. Before medical training, he worked as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service and in construction, where he gained hands-on skills in carpentry and electrical systems. Restaurant work taught him how to multitask and respond to challenges quickly, experiences that have translated well into his medical practice. He entered medical school at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2012 and graduated in 2016. His emergency medicine residency at UCSF-Fresno provided training in airway management, resuscitation, line placement, and bedside ultrasound in one of California’s busiest emergency departments. He cared for patients with trauma, sepsis, cardiac arrest, stroke, respiratory failure, and psychiatric emergencies. After completing residency, he worked at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, where he treated a variety of emergency cases. In 2020, he joined the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group, and by 2024, he became Vice Chair. In this role, he is responsible for scheduling, operational logistics, staff support, and quality improvement, all while continuing to work clinical shifts. He also keeps his skills sharp by moonlighting at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. Fluent in Spanish and board-certified, he maintains his California medical license and all required credentials. Dr. Seth Eidemiller enjoys community volunteering, cycling, cooking, and home projects. Dr. Eidemiller remains committed to providing steady, dependable care to his patients and community.
