Khyati Undavia joined a major mail-order pharmacy after completing her hospital residency. Mastering workflow, business strategy, and hundreds of medication orders every week was necessary for advancement.
She eventually filled 10,000 prescriptions weekly while mastering efficiency, productivity, hour management, and complicated, sometimes heated office relations.
Due to her skill, she was reassigned to a telemarketing project to streamline product dispensing. Undavia was entrusted with reducing costs without jeopardizing patient outcomes.
Undavia resigned from her work in 1994 to move to Houston with her then-husband and two children.
She divorced and worked many jobs to raise her children and stay in Texas. This helped her buy a business and live the life she wanted for her family.
