Not only a professional cycling team but also a nonprofit organization that helps to serve veterans. While performing at an elite level is our focus, our motivation is to use our talents to shine a positive light on the veteran community. The reality is that cycling is much more than a sport, it is a form of therapy. In 2015, an average of 22 veterans committed suicide every day. A majority of these veterans were victims of the inability to access long term, financially sustainable therapy for issues related to depression, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries. As a result many turn to substance abuse and/or self harm.
