Giphy has two great options to get your GIFs to play on Twitter. You can either Tweet a Giphy link or upload a GIF to Twitter directly from giphy.com
--Tweet a Giphy Link--
If you share a Giphy link (i.e. http://gph.is/1aljRyd) on Twitter, the GIF will play in the timeline, the profile page, the embeds, the permalinks of the Tweet, and in search!
Just click the Twitter button located on any GIF permalink page, and make sure you're signed in to your Twitter account.
Click [TWEET] and you're all set!
You can also copy and paste the link for any Giphy GIF to the end of your Tweet and your GIF will play on Twitter.
Here's an example of what your Giphy GIF looks like in the timeline:
On your profile page:#ProTip: All Giphy GIFs auto-play when 'pinned' to the top of your profile page.

When your Tweet is embedded:

--Upload a GIF to Twitter Directly--
All Giphy GIFs can be uploaded to Twitter with just one click!
Click the Twitter upload button located on any GIF permalink page. Make sure you're signed into your Twitter account.
Click 'Tweet' and your GIF will upload directly to Twitter and play in-line.
If you upload a GIF directly to Twitter from Giphy, we will automatically downsize any GIF to fit Twitter's 3MB file size restriction.
