Frankfurt Fans Invade Pitch After Europa League Semi-Final Triumph

Supporters of German club Eintracht Frankfurt ran on to the pitch after their side’s 1-0 win over West Ham United on Thursday, May 5, as they made it through to the final of the UEFA Europa League. Footage posted by Christopher Michel showed the Frankfurt supporters storm the pitch as the final whistle was blown. The crowd can be seen lighting flares and waving flags emblazoned with the club’s emblem as they make their way to the center circle.
