At about 600m above sea level, between Etna and the sea, there is Adrano and in the historical centre the Panificio Santa Rita. That is the place where Angelo and his family, for 20 years now, have been producing bread and biscuits just as they used to do in the past. The majestic stone oven is the protagonist and the secret of the production is to follow natural methods without preservatives. The careful choice of flours is concentrated on local producers who with love and dedication carry on the cultivation of the 52 varieties of native Sicilian grains.
