Discover our history: On April 23, 2004, surgery in the city of Treze Tílias, in Santa Catarina, Brazil, better known as the “Brazilian Tyrol”, the Bierbaum Brewery. Founded by the Bierbaum brothers, the factory was built in an annex to the charming and traditional Edelweiss Restaurant, preserving in its construction the alpine style, characteristic of the Austrian Alps region. The Bierbaum Brewery takes its name from the family, which translated into Portuguese means: Beer Tree. Just as a tree with deep and strong roots is capable of producing excellent fruit, we at Bierbaum Brewery have our roots in the German Purity Law of 1516 “Reinheitsgebot”. We take care of our soil so to speak, as our formulations are unique and exclusive and the barley malt, hops and yeast (yeast) all come from Austria and Germany and are made with the purest water produced, thus the best Craft Beer for you taste . The German Beer Purity Law states that beer should only be brewed with the following ingredients: water, barley malt and hops. Our “Beer Tree” undergoes constant evaluation by our team and you, my brewer friend, are part of this evaluation, as we are always ready to listen to your suggestions and criticisms. From now on you no longer need to go to Europe to taste an authentic European beer, you can count on the different flavors of beers made by Cervejaria Bierbaum and receive your beer in the comfort of your home.
