Stefan Wüthrich, known as "The Bear", is a student of applied psychology at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland and completed the health and social vocational baccalaureate with a major in training and sports theory. In 2010 he opened the Ambo Training Martial Arts School in Ostermundigen and offers ACDS, KMT and AmBo Fit. The school became so big that it had to move to a larger location in November 2014. In addition to the Ambo School, the Luta Livre Academy Bern was added at the beginning of 2014, which is also headed by Stefan Wüthrich. "The Bear" is a full-time martial arts and fitness trainer and does his job with great passion and motivation. This motivation is also reflected in his successes. He personally and his students fight actively and successfully at national and international martial arts events for kickboxing, muay thai, sanda, grappling, K1 and MMA. But he has also made a name for himself in the canton of Bern with his type of training methodology and knowledge. His school is open every day except on Sundays, he carries out a wide variety of projects with school classes and companies, advises on nutrition and puts together training plans and diets, teaches prospective trainers and instructors and also trains them outside of his own school. "The Bear" is also on the road as an instructor for other institutions and companies. He owes a large part of his knowledge to his trainer Amaro Bento. He taught him everything about martial arts and self defense. That is also the reason why "The Bear" opened the Ambo Training Martial Arts School. He is 100% behind the products ACDS, KMT and AmBo Fit. Later, Andreas Schmidt, who was and is his teacher for Luta Livre, joined them. Working for the Swiss Army for 4 years gave him the foundations of training methodology and didactics. In addition, his leadership style and dealing with people were formed.
