PURPLE – Internationales Tanzfestival für junges Publikum is an international dance festival for a young audience in Berlin since 2017. Our approach is to give contemporary dance a bigger voice and to improve the importance of this certain art form. PURPLE presents together with our partners HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Jugendtheaterwerkstatt Spandau, TANZKOMPLIZEN, TanzTangente and THEATER AN DER PARKAUE a professional stage program for various age groups 6 years and up. Besides the stage program there will be introductions to staged works, discussion formats and free workshops for school classes in collaboration with the participating artists.
