Linjagrass hopes to heal people and relieve sadness through painting. She believes that the emotion of life can nourish the grassland in her mind, and thus inspire her to create works helping people go through their hard and good times. The first part of the brand name "linja" is derived from the illustrator's name—Lin Jiarong. The brand name also includes the word "grass" because the illustrator longs to leisurely lie on a grassland. The illustrator likes to paint with low saturation colors as she believes that the colors can absorb people's sadness. Some of Linjagrass' works portray melancholy while some of them are about funny things in daily life. On the illustrator's grassland, we will never know what the next work will be.
