The Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) is a service provider for 9.7 million people in Rhineland. It is the communal umbrella organisation of 13 urban districts, 12 districts and the city region of Aachen. The LVR has 20,000 employees in 69 departments. It is the supporting organisation of 41 special schools, 20 museums and cultural services, 10 clinics and one Therapeutic Pedagogical Support Group. The LVR is the largest service provider in Germany for people with disabilities.
