At Art Orientation, the event which is organized annually in Pirkanmaa since 2004, the public has the opportunity to visit studios, workspaces, galleries and other exhibition venues to meet artists at work. The public can ask questions, discuss art, buy works or just admire the local know-how. There are approx. 140 open sites around Pirkanmaa every year. Art Orientation, Taidesuunnistus, is organized by the art, design and craft organizations Tampere Artists Association, Photographic Center Nykyaika, Rajataide, Modus and Taito Pirkanmaa.
