Thunder Tiger is a trio with a strong electric foundation, formed in September 2022 by bassist and composer Nicola Govoni. The band’s language moves in many directions, always interconnected. Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, and Rock blend together in a continuous and exhilarating sonic flow, expanding the boundaries of musical conventions, creating its own clear and cohesive framework. Thunder Tiger is an open laboratory that rediscovers the essence of the piano trio and projects it to the highest levels of contemporary music.
