Founded in 2018, Tweenit Magazine is a Philadelphia based magazine aimed at an age demographic often overlooked. Tweens are defined as that “in between” age, not exactly a child, not yet a teenager. CEO and Founder, Jennifer Haymes, started this magazine in an attempt to find quality reading materials for her daughters. She knew from watching and observing the types of kid and teen magazines that there really was just that, children's magazines and teen magazines. The tween age group would be too young to read teen magazines and they would be considered too old for the children's magazine. So what did she do? She decided to create a magazine solely for tweens, a magazine for tweens by tweens. And thus Tweenit Magazine was born. This magazine gives tweens the opportunity to showcase their creativity in every way. From fashion designers to writers, this magazine has given many talented tweens a platform to just be them.
