This is official Prāta Vētra / BrainStorm band's GIPHY account. Four ambitious schoolmates established „Prāta Vētra” in 1989. The band received international recognition in 2000, after they finished third in the Eurovision Song Contest. That same year they released their first international album, Among the Suns, in Europe. "Prāta Vētra" has received many awards, including MTV Europe Music Award for Best Baltic Act in 2006. The summer of 2015 BrainStorm spent touring in Latvia, gathering nearly 100 000 people in four shows and also playing as headliners at the biggest music festival in Russia “Nashestvie”. This year "Prāta Vētra" has released their 11th studio album and are preparing for five spectacular shows in Latvia.
