Carakale is the first microbrewery in Jordan- A play on ‘Ale’ and ‘Caracal’ the name of the fierce desert wildcat, the Carakale brewery overlooks Jordan's rustic, rolling hills just outside of Amman. Founded in 2009 by Jordanian, Yazan Karadsheh, Carakale beer draws inspiration from the unique flavors of the Middle East, including local grapefruits, dates, spices and salts from the Dead Sea.
