Candice Greathouse (b. Columbus, GA) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Greathouse received an MFA in photography in 2012 and an MA degree in art history in 2014, both from the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University. Her photography, video, and installation work has been shown nationally. Greathouse’s current research explores obsession in relationship to celebrity, love, and desire, through her photography, video, and installation practice. She has collaboratives works including site-specific installations at the High Museum of Art (GA) and commissions for public art projects by Hotel Indigo and Comcast Xfinity. Her editorial work and writing have been featured in print and online publications including Number: Inc Arts Journal and fLoromancy. Greathouse has curated exhibitions at City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs' Gallery 72, the Hambidge Center, the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia, and Athens Institute of Contemporary Art, among others.
