Eva Papamargariti (b.1987) is a Greek architect and new media artist. She is currently studying for her Master's Degree in Visual Communication Design, at Royal College of Art, London. She has been working and collaborating with architects, artists and design groups since 2008. Her projects focus on time-based media (digital installations, video, gif animations etc), architecture and graphic design. She is interested in the creation of 2d/3d digital spaces, forms and geometries which can provoke different concepts, narrations and atmospheres each time, using a variety of methods, tools and programs. The themes of motion, destruction and distortion appear often to her work. She has exhibited group and individual projects both in Greece and Internationally in cities like Athens, New York, Seattle, Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Lima, Toronto, Vancouver, Edinburgh, Dublin, Antwerp and also on the Internet ( Panther Modern, ANIGIF, 15Folds, Channel Normal, The Wrong - New Digital Art Biennale, Eternal Internet Brotherhood, Cloaque.org, #0000FF Gallery, Decenter and more). She has participated in architectural competitions and has also worked as an assistant tutor in architectural workshops (KAM Workshops, Center of Mediterranean Architecture). Some of her projects and texts have been also presented and published in Universities, workshops, sites, magazines and catalogues (The Creators Projects, Wired Italia, Animal N.Y, ARTFCITY, KAM Workshops, OFluxo, Mas Context, Dpr- Barcelona, Prosthetic Knowledge and more).
