Skott Chandler is a photographic artist and educator at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. His photographic work focuses on experimental film and digital photographic processes. Skott is inspired by the concept of photographic truths and how a photograph can mislead and misrepresent because of the choices made by the creator. Skott’s imagemaking is about the perceptions of truth, the human relationships with time, spaces, fear, night, the unseen, and the unknown.
