Third Culture Bakery

@thirdculturebakery
Third Culture Bakery donates part of its assets each year to various organizations, including the Berkeley Humane Society, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, SF LGBT Center, The Trevor Project, and 1951 Coffee Company, a nonprofit that provides jobs and training to refugees and asylum seekers while educating the community and building bridges. During the pandemic, the bakery donated thousands of dollars to a queer BIPOC emergency relief fund in the Bay Area. The bakery also assembled and passed out safety kits to combat a wave of hatred and violence targeting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. These kits include pepper spray and loud keychain alarms. Initially anticipating a few hundred requests, Wenter and Sam received more than 5,200 requests for these kits and have since given away over 22,000. In conclusion, Culture Bakery is a unique and innovative establishment that offers its customers delicious, healthy, and philanthropic food options. With its matcha, mochi brownies, and commitment to community, the bakery has become a beloved staple in the Bay Area and beyond.
