Adirondack Council

@AdirondackCouncil
The Adirondack Council’s goal is to ensure the ecological integrity and wild character of the Adirondack Park by maintaining biological diversity, clean water and air, wildlife habitats and its scenic beauty. We envision the Adirondack Park as large core wilderness areas, surrounded by working farms and forests, and augmented by vibrant local communities. To achieve our vision for the Park, we educate the public and policymakers, advocate for regulations, policies and funding to benefit the Park's environment and communities, monitor proposals, legislation and policies impacting the Park, and take legal action to uphold constitutional protections and policies to protect the Adirondack Park.
