The Kunsthalle Bremen is an important German art museum, which has gained a high reputation through changing exhibitions. The museum is located in the immediate vicinity of Bremen's old town in the ramparts on the “cultural mile”. The sponsor is the non-profit art association in Bremen - the Kunsthalle Bremen is the only museum in Germany with an extensive art collection from the 14th to the 21st century, which is still privately funded. The building has been a listed building since 1977.
