The Olympic Committee of Serbia (NOC of Serbia) is the leading non-governmental and non-profit making sports organization in Serbia. NOC of Serbia represents an umbrella organization of 42 national Olympic sports federations. NOC of Serbia nourishes and promotes fundamental principles and values. Main field of acting is sport, where its social dimension is considered as a powerful tool for promotion and development of the key ideas and messages. The main goals of the Olympic Committee of Serbia are to spread the ideas of Olympism and the development of sports in general, the development and protection of the Olympic Movement in Serbia, and the representation of the country at the Olympic Games and world, continental and regional competitions held under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee. NOC of Serbia works closely with leading global sports organizations such as the IOC, EOC, ANOC, ICMG and ENGSO, National Olympic Committees (NOCs), sport faculties, educational and research institutions, and large companies.
