Dr. Jill Abram, a distinguished board-certified psychiatrist from Indiana, has dedicated her 38-year career to providing exceptional mental health care. Her expertise in psychiatry, particularly in child and adolescent psychiatry, has allowed her to serve as a pivotal figure in healing communities, families, and individuals. Throughout her extensive career, she has collaborated with a wide array of health professionals to uphold the highest standards of psychiatric medicine. Her significant contributions across various settings mark her professional journey. Initially, she worked with the Homeless Mobile Team at Midtown Mental Center in Indianapolis from 1988 to 1990. She then moved to serve at the Child Team for Mental Health in Anderson, Indiana, enriching the lives of many for six years until 1996. Following this, she embraced the challenges of private practice in Fishers, Indiana, and simultaneously provided her services at Pleasant Run Children's Home in Indianapolis. Her dedication continued in Anderson, where she practiced privately for nearly seven years. During this period, she was also the adolescent psychiatrist at both Northeast Juvenile Correctional Facility and Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility. Additionally, she offered her expertise at Fortville Christian Youth Home as a psychiatric consulting physician. Her illustrious career further expanded to roles including working at the Counseling Center at Christian Theological Seminary, Family Counseling Center in Indianapolis, and as a consulting adolescent psychiatrist at Richmond State Hospital. She was also a vital part of the medical staff at community hospitals in Indianapolis. Her impact extended beyond Indiana; she consulted at the Boys and Girls Home of Alaska and served on the medical staff at North Star Hospital in Anchorage. She notably contributed to the initiation of psychiatric telemedicine services through the Four County Counseling Center, serving Peru, Kokomo, and Logansport, Indiana.
