Andrew Lake is a recent graduate who serves as Research and Development Manager at Lakefront Development Group. In this role, he conducts market research and detailed analysis for commercial real estate development projects in the Pittsburgh and South Florida markets. He is also responsible for creating and applying strategies that help identify and pursue new opportunities for investment and growth. Andy Lake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance from the University of South Florida. While completing his studies, he was awarded the Green and Gold Scholars Award in 2020, which supported first-year out-of-state students who showed substantial academic achievement. During his time at the university, he was also a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity for four years. Serving as Ritual Chair, he worked to uphold the organization's values. He played a key role in fundraising efforts for the Huntsman Cancer Institute, reflecting his dedication to leadership and service. His earlier education provided a strong foundation for future success. At Marshall Middle School, Lake earned Honor Roll recognition in the 2014–2015 academic year. At North Allegheny Senior High School, he balanced academics with athletics, earning several Scholar Athlete Awards in football, basketball, and lacrosse. He also attended Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp, where he was recognized for his work ethic, positive outlook, and encouragement of peers. He graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, was honored as a multi-year Scholar-Athlete, and was named a finalist for the John Rullan Lacrosse Scholarship in 2020. His professional career began with an internship at SRI Quality System Registrar in Wexford. There, Andrew became the youngest in company history to earn an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate after completing an intensive two-month training program with SAE International. His work included assisting with quality management audits and improving communication processes between clients and scheduling teams. He also gained valuable experience in customer service and teamwork through earlier roles at The Toy House and Emporio Restaurant. Andrew is proficient in Microsoft Office, has basic knowledge of Python programming, and speaks introductory Spanish. His volunteer service includes time with the Miracle League, an organization that allows children with disabilities to enjoy the game of baseball in an inclusive environment. Born in Marietta, Georgia, he has always valued his family, which includes four siblings, a niece, and a nephew. He enjoys golfing with a 14 handicap, along with playing basketball and football with his siblings. He also has personal interests in traveling, fishing, cooking, and aviation, having taken lessons during high school. Andrew Lake intends to further his career by obtaining a commercial real estate license and expanding his professional path in the South Florida market.
