Hello! I’m an illustrator and animator from India, based in New York City. My work comprises of delicate lines in black ink, sometimes filled in with muted earthy colors. Often a piece starts on a paper and finds its way through computer to either be colored or turned into an animation. Working directly with a pen leaves a chance for errors and I feel my work is done when I’ve effectively made a mistake part of the artwork. I draw on a small scale and what I draw is simply inspired from my immediate surroundings; a common connection between me and everyone else, a space we all share but yet in our own worlds.
