He provides care at both the Roswell/Alpharetta and Cumming offices and focuses on the management of rheumatic diseases with a commitment to quality patient care. He has published research in national and international journals and has presented findings at American College of Physicians national meetings and American College of Rheumatology research workshops. Patel is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the National Arthritis Foundation, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He graduated from C.U. Shah Medical College in western India and completed his internal medicine residency at Jersey Shore University Hospital in New Jersey. Jatin Patel, MD, then completed a Rheumatology fellowship at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital, where he gained experience in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and earned Certification in Registered Musculoskeletal Sonography. He has supported research and community health, contributing $150,000 to Boston Children’s Hospital for clinical research in 2015 and 2016 and $5,000 to the National Psoriasis Foundation in 2025. His parents, both physicians, inspired him to pursue medicine. Early experiences observing his father’s house calls showed him the value of compassion in patient care. Dr. Jatin Patel enjoys spending time with his family, who moved with him to Georgia and found a welcoming community. He likes running, traveling, watching soccer, and exploring different cuisines.
