Dr. Gabriel Carabello is a board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 30 years of experience treating complex vascular conditions. A native of Los Angeles, California, he has built a career dedicated to enhancing patient health through meticulous, outcome-driven care. His clinical focus includes the treatment of carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and peripheral vascular disease, with a steady commitment to long-term patient management.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Loyola Marymount University in 1985 and completed his medical degree at the UCLA School of Medicine in 1989. He went on to complete his General Surgery Internship and Residency at King-Drew Medical Center, finishing in 1995. He later completed a Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship in 1996 and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at UCLA in 1997. To expand his capabilities, he pursued a Mini Fellowship in Endovascular Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2008.

His clinical work has primarily focused on vascular access and endovascular procedures, often for patients with ongoing or complex medical conditions.
From 1997 to 1999, he served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, helping to train medical students while continuing his clinical responsibilities. He holds licenses in several states and maintains board certifications in both General and Vascular Surgery. He is also certified in life support and moderate sedation. His fluency in English and Spanish enables him to connect with a diverse range of patients from various backgrounds.
