Melchiore Buscemi MD was a physician of the highest caliber who accepted Medicaid and self-pay patients to ensure that everyone received top-notch care. As a clinical instructor at Clarkson University, he donated all of his salary to the PA program so as to provide assistance to aspiring healthcare professionals. Moreover, while in medical school and residencies, he authored multiple articles on genetics and virology which were published in "UROLOGY" magazine. His accomplishments earned him several awards by the time he finished his stint as instructional staff at Clarkson University's Physician Assistant program in the 1980s.
