Fragile X is the leading cause of inherited Intellectual Disability and Autism worldwide. Children diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome have intellectual disability, Autism, speech delays, ADHD, behaviour problems. At present there is no cure for Fragile X but targeted treatments make a huge difference. Also, since it is an inherited condition, an accurate diagnosis helps families make an informed decision about future children.
