Norman Badger has devoted more than thirty years to his career with Publix, an employee-owned grocery chain in the United States. He worked on expanding product lines, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and improving merchandising and supply chain processes. In 2024, he advanced to Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, where he continues to oversee all retail stores across the company’s footprint. His responsibilities include supporting leadership teams, ensuring service consistency, and contributing to the organization's long-term growth. He values the people he works with and remains thankful for the opportunities he has received throughout his career. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, and married his high school sweetheart in 2001. They have a son and have lived in several cities, including Atlanta, Charleston, and Raleigh, before settling in Florida again. Sports are an essential part of his personal life, and he and his son share a love for football. They are fans of the Steelers and Penn State and attend games together each season, creating lasting family traditions. In 2023, they traveled to Glendale, Arizona, to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play the Eagles, which was an exceptional experience. His son plays JV football in different positions and also enjoys basketball. Watching him play has been a source of pride, and over time, he has collected keepsakes from their trips, each one capturing memories of their bond.
