Sarah Warren is an entrepreneur in Tallahassee, Florida, with a professional foundation built on more than a decade of legal experience in public finance and representation of local government entities. Recognized for her pragmatic approach and strong business insight, she advised on complex bond financing transactions and represented numerous special taxing districts. Today, she applies the expertise gained from her legal career to independent business ventures she operates with her husband, Gabe.
Raised in Aspen, Colorado, Sarah graduated from Aspen High School in 2002 as a member of the National Honor Society. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Communications from Rollins College in 2006, graduating cum laude. While at Rollins, she held leadership roles in Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, including serving as president. She earned her Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2010, serving as Associate Editor of the Environmental Journal and participating in the International Law Practice Clinic, where she gained valuable legal experience.
Her career began in 2011 with American Express, where she excelled in corporate account business development, earning top rankings as both a rookie and tenured manager. In 2013, she transitioned back to law, joining the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity’s Office of the General Counsel, focusing on community planning and strategic business development. The following year, she joined Hopping Green & Sams, P.A., becoming a shareholder and building a specialized practice in special districts, infrastructure development, and public finance. She frequently acted as Issuer’s Counsel, overseeing financings for infrastructure such as roadways, utilities, and stormwater systems supporting new communities throughout Florida.
In 2022, Sarah joined Bryant Miller Olive P.A., continuing her focus on public finance while representing local government clients. She collaborated with underwriters, trustees, and other professionals to deliver successful financial outcomes. Her expertise includes tax-exempt bonds, special district governance, underwriters’ counsel representation, and public infrastructure projects.
Outside her professional work, Sarah Warren is active in the Urban Land Institute, contributing to leadership and educational initiatives. A lifelong equestrian who has competed nationally, she co-founded the Rollins College Equestrian Team. She also enjoys skiing, hiking, and creative writing, passions that reflect her love for the outdoors and her background in English.
