@lawyergeorgesidiropolis
Lawyer George Sidiropolis has developed a trial practice centered on responsibility, preparation, and the fair use of the civil justice system. Based in West Virginia, he is the founder of The Injury Rights Law Firm, where he represents individuals and families facing serious injury, wrongful death, and insurance bad-faith disputes. His work reflects a steady belief that the legal system should serve people who are harmed, not protect those seeking to avoid accountability. Throughout his career, he has focused on representing clients against corporations and insurance companies. He approaches litigation with the view that clear facts and disciplined advocacy still matter in the courtroom. His practice emphasizes careful preparation and an understanding of how legal decisions affect real lives, particularly during moments of loss or permanent change. In 2023, Sidiropolis established The Injury Rights Law Firm to concentrate on complex and demanding cases. The firm represents clients suffering from catastrophic injuries, permanent impairments, and fatal incidents. A significant portion of his practice involves commercial trucking litigation, traumatic brain injury cases, and insurance bad-faith claims. His approach blends traditional trial fundamentals with modern litigation strategies designed to present cases clearly and effectively. One of the most significant results of his legal career came when he served as co-counsel in a Jefferson County, Ohio, trial that resulted in an $82.1 million jury verdict. The case involved a motorcyclist who lost his left arm and left leg following a commercial truck crash. The verdict was reported as the most significant trucking verdict in Ohio and the largest amputation verdict in history, underscoring the importance of detailed case development and trial readiness. Before building his trial practice, George Sidiropolis of West Virginia served as a Municipal Court Judge in Benwood. He was known for fairness and efficiency in managing courtroom proceedings. That experience provided him with direct insight into judicial decision-making, which continues to influence how he evaluates cases and prepares arguments as a trial attorney. His education includes earning a Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law. He is admitted to practice in West Virginia, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Earlier, he earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Wheeling Jesuit University and later returned there as an Adjunct Professor teaching American Jurisprudence. He remains active in legal education and mentorship. He serves on the West Virginia Association for Justice board and its programming committee. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Attorney Information Exchange Group, and the Academy of Trucking Accident Attorneys. He regularly attends national training programs and completes advanced continuing legal education courses to refine his trial skills. Outside the courtroom, George Sidiropolis maintains an interest in collectibles, including comic books, VHS tapes, and movie posters. He has shared his knowledge through writing and podcast appearances and dedicates much of his personal time to caring for his cousin Mark, with whom he enjoys watching films and spending quiet time together.
