Xamantha Descallar is a college student currently pursuing a degree in Microbiology at Texas A&M University and Lone Star College. She is fluent in English and can understand Cebuano and Japanese. She has been dedicated to volunteering at medical facilities, including Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. Her main areas of interest are nursing, pathology, and forensic science, which are supported by a consistent record of strong academic performance. Outside of her studies, she spends time engaging in digital art, photography, cooking, playing musical instruments, dancing, singing, and learning various languages. Xamantha Pearl Gales Descallar was born in Cebu, Philippines. Her family relocated to the United States when she was just one year old. From a young age, she grew up in a bilingual environment, using Cebuano and English in her household.
