Black Voters Matter Fund is a 501c4 dedicated to expanding Black voter engagement and increasing progressive power through movement-building and engagement. Working with grassroots organizations, specifically in key states in the South, BVMF seeks to increase voter registration and turnout, advocate for policies to expand voting rights/access, and help develop infrastructure where little or none exists to support a power-building movement that keeps Black voters and their issues at the forefront of our election process.

Neighbors Sing 'Happy Birthday to You' From Windows to Child in Windsor

Residents facing their first day of COVID-19 lockdown in Windsor, England, sang Happy Birthday to You to a child turning 7 years old from their windows on March 24. Prime Minister Boris Johnson issued a nationwide stay-at-home order during a televised statement on March 23. During the statement he gave British people one very specific instruction: “You must stay at home.” The PM dictated people should only be leaving their homes for very “limited purposes”: shopping for necessities, one form of exercise a day, medical care, and traveling to and from work if it cannot be done at home.
