Laura Seamon recorded this video of her dog Lucy, a cavalier King Charles spaniel. Now three years old, Lucy was just three months old at the time of filming. Seamon lives in New York, but captured the video while on a trip to visit family in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She brought her native New Yorker puppy with her to experience the joys of the countryside for the first time. Lucy can be seen in the video relaxing on her owner’s lap after going on a hike for the first time and being given a bath to clean off her muddy coat.
