Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane got into a verbal confrontation with a fan at Old Trafford on November 6, following United’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City . Keane served as a pundit for Sky News during the game, according to local news reports. Video filmed by Twitter user @darrenrusse11 shows a man approaching Keane and calling him an “a legend in this club,” but then asking Keane, “why would you be like that?” “Be like what? Manchester United Fans Protest Club Ownership at Old Trafford

Manchester United fans protested against the Glazer family’s ownership of the club before their Premier League match against Norwich City at Old Trafford in Manchester on April 16. The protest was organized by supporters group The 1958, according to the Manchester Evening News. The group tweeted a “rallying call” asking fans to bring flares to the demonstration. On Twitter, The 1958 said “nothing will change until the head of the snake is removed,” referring to the Glazer family. Brother and Sister Break Down in Tears as Manchester United Star Stops Car to Greet Them

A pair of young Manchester United fans were overjoyed when defender Lisandro Martinez stopped his car outside Old Trafford to sign a jersey for them on January 28. United fan Paul Barratt filmed his son and daughter as they waited outside the stadium following the team’s 3-1 FA Cup victory over Reading. Barratt told Storyful that he and his children had “front row” seats at the stadium close to where the players enter and leave the field; however, attempts to attract Martinez’s attention there were unsuccessful. Barratt’s son had brought a shirt with Martinez’s name on the back, and undeterred the trio tried to get his attention outside the stadium at a section where the players walk towards their cars. However, Barratt said, Martinez “didn’t reach us before he walked off.” The trio then ran toward the area where the players’ cars leave the stadium, and it was here that they grabbed the Argentinean player’s attention, as he stopped to sign the shirt. Barratt’s footage shows Martinez signing the shirt, posing
