Nattie J., Winner of Season 1 of Crime Scene Kitchen, began her career as a Pastry chef earning her degree in baking and pastry arts from the Culinary Institute of America in 2006. She moved to Las Vegas to prove to parents “baking wasn’t just a hobby” and worked her way up the culinary ladder working for Thomas Keller, Jean Georges, Joel Robuchon & Tom Coliccho, catering to celebrities and high need clientele 24-7. After the birth of her son, her life took a change and she found herself a single mother looking for a better life. Shmet my husband and he has encouraged me to take my passion for cakes to another level. CAKE lyfe by Nattie J. was born and now I’m a stay at home mom/custom cake artist.
