The most successful Czech women basketball club founded in 1993. From 1998 to 2007, Brno's Žabiny holds a unique record of 256 victories in a row in the highest competition. The unrivaled string of thirteen league titles in a row was interrupted only by the 2008-2009 season, when the Brno team was unable to defend its sovereign position. Today, every year it appears among the three best teams in the Czech Republic.
