Founded in 2018, Beatsource was created through a partnership between DJcity and Beatport. This collaboration between the world’s largest record pool and the worldwide home of electronic music for DJs has created a new home for open-format and mobile DJs to purchase and discover new music in an environment specifically designed with the open-format and mobile DJ in mind. The Beatsource store offers six core genres - Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, Pop, Dance, and Reggae/Dancehall - carrying the biggest hits, all in premium digital formats and with world-class DJs providing the stores curation. Beatsource is based in Los Angeles. Beatsource provides the global open-format DJ community with access to a suite of products tailored specifically to their needs and created by esteemed members of their community. Drawing on our years of experience, Beatsource will develop its high quality digital music store, streaming service for leading DJ hardware and software providers through our LINK technology, and establish a new and improved record pool. Beatsource will work with the global DJ community to serve it and help define it because Beatsource is made up of the global DJ community.
