I became a mother for the first time at 19 years. While I saw my son grow up, it always reminded me of my childhood. I remember how my grandmother, Esperanza used to dress, how good I felt when I walked by her side through our neighborhood. She used always to say: your presence is felt even before you say a word, it’s a reflexion of how you view yourself.
There was a tough time in my life where I had to take care of my son on my own for a few long years. I lost happiness, the motivation for success, and the most important thing I missed was confidence in myself.
In those sad moments, the only thing that can make you better is appreciating what makes you different, build yourself an image of you that makes you happy and keeps you looking good. I don’t want any other woman to go through what I was feeling. There’s nothing that communicates more than your style. It’s your lucky charm, the first choice you make every day.
